Although we have been providing CAFM/IWMS services since 1985, FM Innovations was founded in 2002 as a division of Tecton Architects, Inc., an established and successful architectural firm based in Hartford, CT. Tecton designs ground up buildings for large corporations, hospitals, universities and municipalities.
Providing IWMS services was a logical extension of Tecton’s services to its existing customer base to help them manage their facilities upon building completion. Together, Tecton and FM Innovations provide start to finish services - or Building Lifecycle Management – encompassing every phase from strategy to architecture, construction, move-in and ultimately to ongoing facility management.
